I am kind of confused on the percent we choose when becoming a member. The reason for asking is because i look at the 50/50 as being Bi or having a interest in women or men. When the percent changes to like 60/40 etc etc where deos that mean..

I looked at it for me as saying i am 60 percent gay but i have a 40 percent straightness to me... i dont act fem .. i love doing straight things playing sports etc etc

so anywho i was curious in knowing what the percent means for you..

sorry to anyone that feels if i am getting to personal

Acting effeminate is gay? Playing sports is straight? Dude, look beyond the stereotypes. Playing sports doesn't make someone any less gay! 'Gay' and 'straight' aren't about appearances and non-sexual situations. 60% gay, 40% straight means that one is sexually attracted to members of both sexes, but leans a little more towards men. There are fewer true 50%/50% bisexuals out there than are of us 100% gay blades.

I'm just happy I'm 100%, it takes the guess work out of it.

For me the percentages indicate that I am truly Bi. I chose 60% straight 40% gay, because I don't seem to develop emotional attachments with other men, only with women. For me having sex with a man is just sex, even when we are getting it on often, but I have never had an ongoing sexual relationship with a woman where I didn't develop deep feelings for her.

    Thank you Jacinto,
I was hoping someone would nip that in the bud.

I put 100% gay because even though I can find some women desirable and even enjoy looking at the women in straight porn if I ask myself how many women have I actually had sex with? Erm, none. So until that changes I'm 100% gay.

The fem thing is irrelevant, I agree. Another thing I don't really like is being called 'straight-acting' because for me it's totally not an act. I just describe myself as masculine. I'm a man that happens to love men but there are all kinds of people like that. Masculine or feminine, jocks or couch-potatoes, all kinds...

I think I may have gone off the subject a bit here! Sorry ;)

    Ian.

The whole 'effeminate = gay' thing, I don't know how that began. For that matter, I don't know the etymology of 'gay blade'.

It's funny because straight guys are surrounded by homoerotic imagery and don't think anything of it due to the lack of allusions to ass-pounding.
