The year I finished school, I helped my best friend move from Melbourne to Sydney where he was starting uni the next year. I had a huge crush on hm, but alas he was straight and despite my best attempts to lure him into a sexual relationship, he graciously declined (thanks Al you're the best friend ever). Anyway, I had done my job and Al was settled into his new home. Having three months before I had to be home to start uni myself, I spent a couple of weeks backpacking up the east coast.
When I arrived in Brisbane, I was sitting on my pack in the city square getting myself oriented, I noticed this very handsome guy passing nearby. After a while watching him, I realised that he was cruising another guy just ahead of him. I laughed to myself and he happened to turn around and saw me looking at him and having a good old chuckle. He came over, introduced himself and asked what I was laughing at. I told him that I thought the guy he was cruising was very cute, but suggested that I didn't think he was going to have any luck. I don't think I had ever been so upfront, and my normal shyness was overcome by the carefeeness which travel brings. So we chat and arrange to meet the next day. The next day I had my first sexual experience with another person, and it was pretty damn good.
I found out that he was more that twice my age, but had been gifted with the genes to be forever handsome (kind of like Bbucko to look at). Anyway, he invited me to stay at his place and initiated me into man to man sex, and was always the perfect gentleman (except he wouldn't let me fuck him). I spent a month living with him.
He owned an art gallery and was keen to take me to his work and introduce me to his friends and family. It was a great time in my life, and when the time came, it was hard to part. We stayed in touch for a few years after that. The last I heard from him directly he had hooked with one of his employees who had bought a share in his business. He was very happy.
About twelve months ago i read an article about him and his partner in the Sunday supplement magazine. Now semi retired, he is a benafactor and mentor to emerging artists. Thanks and love to you M.
