It sounds like a morbid question but this past week I lost a cousin to a massive heart attack. He was single and so his family went to his apartment and was surprised at what they found. Nothing strange for him but it was just a mess.

It got me thinking. I'm single and have toys in my night stand. Nothing too kinky to you and me - two dildos, cock rings, lube, condoms, butt plug - but to my parents or brothers they might be in for shock.

I thought I'd ask a friend who has a key to get over as soon as he got the bad news and clean things up. Of course, at the moment he might forget...

Has anyone thought about this? If so, how did you handle keeping things out of sight?

had a friends brother die suddenly ..... it was a crazy ass rush to get to his house and take out the porn, toys and the BDSM stuff off the walls, before his really up-tight nasty we're o-so better then other people parents came to clean out the house ....

if it were just me, let them walk in on it ...... their son may of had his "kink" but he was a better human being by far

When you die you get pumped full of embalming fluid so you don't stink the place up, get put into a pine box, lowered into the ground and then friends and family all huddle around and tell lies about what a wonderful person you were.

The end.

How many people can post an opinion with out reading a god damned word of the OP.

I don't care what people find when I die. Im probably somewhere way cooler. :)

I really don't care what anybody thinks about me when I am dead. When they find some books and artwork they will know the real me better. I should hope they continue to have a romanticized image of me? Don't see that being better. This is the real me.

There's a similar bit about this in the excellent autobiography Mississippi Sissy by Kevin Sessums, a former Vanity Fair editor. His friend and mentor makes Kevin swear on his life that if anything happens to him Kevin will get to his friend's locked trunk before the police or relatives do. What actually occurs is pretty interesting.

Like I said, if I'm gone and my family wants to judge me based off of personal items they find in my apartment. Well, I probably don't care for their opinion about my life anyways. And I wasn't trying to be rude in saying somewhere cooler, I meant cooler than where we are now (in my opinion) . Its nothing I care to elaborate on as it has no real relevance to OPs original question

Way back when the AIDS crises was beginning to hit en masse a common agreement among friends was that if he died we would rush over to his house, gather up the "boxed boyfriends" collection and get out! Everyone knew exactly where to find it, therefore, when the relatives got there nothing would appear to be out of order.
Relatives often found out he was gay when he died. Those were some ugly, cruel times.

lmao....Yes this happens too! I believe in reincarnation myself. I think we keep coming back until we get it right, then we become one of God's angels.

Screw being a servant all your life to be a servant in death.
Let me be a goddess in life and so many recycled molecules in death.
