Don't expect too much from people and you won't get disappointed.
Money is important, but living within your means and saving for a rainy day is better
Never let them see you sweat
When people show you who they are believe them
Always try to give people the benefit of the doubt if they are worth it
People can change if they want to
Give people a second chance if you can
Don't tell people what they don't want to hear
Lending money is a great way to lose a relationship
Pray or worry, but don't do both.
Accept the good and bad in people, and hopefully they will do the same for you.
Respect you parents if they have shown you respect and taught you love.

1) That it isn't always fair ,but we are stuck with it (unless you want to check out early). 2) Be real careful who to trust. 3)Treat others as you wish to be treated. 4)Cherish your family and friends (including your pets) 5)Think about the effects you have on others .How do you want to be remembered ? As a miserable, abject asshole or someone about whom, fond,happy memories will long endure. 6)Don't laugh at the afflicted , as i did when i was young , you may get a dose of it yourself ,as i have now. In every situation they'll get you coming and going ex: taxes, fees, extra fees, charges, and etc etc. Friends in school, work, and life mean nothing. The only true friends you'll ever have are the ones who are around in the end. Even then your perception of what a friend is and should be will never be obtained. It's not your fault for having high expectations its their fault for being shitty friends.
Your image, popularity, and being a part of the in crowd will not serve you well when those things fade away and you are all alone in your final days. The only saving grace if any is to be true to yourself and never ever change who you are for money, friends, to impress people, or to gain things mentioned above.

I'm still learning. Oh one last thing don't be an ass kisser or yes man because it may get you to a higher position or better job but the people you wrong or the bridges you burn getting there in the end isn't worth it.

The one thing you need more than anything else is money.
You can never underestimate the cruelty/stupidity of the average person.

This is what I, too, have learned.

You take the good you take the bad the take the rest and... well you know how the song goes. Seriously you only have one life so make the most of it. The only two things you can count on 100% are death and taxes.
