  • Life begins at 30, and it doesn't end until you let it end you
  • Those 20 somethings will be thirty eventually, but they won't believe life begins at 30 until they get there
  • Life is a banquet and some people are starving to death
  • Being on a condo board is just as bad as everyone says it is, even worse if you are President
  • You can only teach for so long, then you get burnt out and want to experience experience yourself
  • Working for a non-profit is not as great as it might seem. You can work in for-profit for all the trouble and make better money
  • Most of the world works to live, while Americans live to work
  • Siesta isn't such a bad thing
  • There's never enough vacation time
  • Hardguard's pictures will always make you hard/moist
  • The USA might just be to big for it's own good
  • The grass is always greener in Europe...until you move there
  • Absence makes the heart grow fonder and the sex un-fucking believable when you do get back together!
  • Say "I love you" while you have the chance, because tomorrow is not guaranteed
  • Sometimes the worst part of life reveals the truths that will become the best part of life
  • Seeing the glass as half full is not a bad thing, it's just tougher
  • And finally, in the words of my late father to his secretary/girlfriend... Why should we get married? Let's just have fun and enjoy what we have.

I love quotes!

  • No one knows who you are, but they like to pretend
  • We are only limited by our lack of motivation
  • Even when you burn the candle at both ends, you never run out of wax, it just runs
  • The difference between good and evil is who's fault it is
  • Personality is not taught in schools but gets you better jobs than qualifications
  • Violence is the best method, or everyone wouldn't use it
  • The only difference between luck and skill is what you did afterwards

I've learned that if you tell somebody how to hurt you, they just might do it. People will sometimes exploit your vulnerabilities for their own evil reasons.
I've also learned to love like that can't happen.

What have YOU learned?

Be Safe, Be Careful, & Enjoy as much of life where and when you can... it's far too short to waste it away.

Oh, and never reject one of HickBoy's Party invits:biggrin1: :biggrin1:

I have learned that when you are starting to think that you will spend the rest of your life alone, and that girls are not the worth, ms right will come and steal your heart.

It happened four years ago and still I am in love like the first day!

I've learned that it's hard to take my eyes off that pair of bouncing supergazungas long enough to read your words of wisdom, but it's worth it.

Did I kill the thread? I was so interested in seeing what everyone else had to say. lol

Hell, no! I just copied yours and put them in a journal I keep.

I've learned that giving up what hurts you the most because you've believed that it helped you survive is the hardest thing to do
