It was never really all that common. There was an extensive study released a year or two ago about sex before marriage. The statistics stretched back to the '50s, I believe, and about 70-75% of Americans have sex before getting married.
I don't think you need to worry at all. From what I can tell, girls appreciate a guy that hasn't laid the whole town. And I'm sure whomever you find to take your virginity, that person will guide you willingly.
Isn't it commonly said though that many woman would be able to tell if a guy is a virgin? And if not, and if they're aren't "good", they may not get repeat encounters with the same woman anyway even if they lie.
Well a guy can be experienced without having to be a manwhore. I do wonder though how many woman out there tend to avoid men who are virgins or inexperienced. I suppose you can't blame a person for "looking out for number 1," but I'm sure these guys greatly appreciate females who don't mind the whole virgin/inexperienced thing.
Less common now, innit? I think tho it's more upto the individual these days - ppl leave you to handle stuff the way you want to.
Most girls i know would probably think it pretty sweet if they met a lad who was a virgin.
Also, if it's your first time and you're really nervous you can last for ages anyway heheh

Why should you tell others that you are a virgin? If you are going to have sex with a girl its the best time to tell her that its your first time. She will help you. And if its her first time too its best if you take time and help each other. Talking about your feelings is very important.
To the ones who want to stay virgin until their wedding I can only say that they forget the importance of knowing before you marry that you sexually can go on together. Ive read in posts here, but also in private chats that a lot of men have a bad sex life. In my opinion its better to have some experience together before marrying.
