Between those two? Marvel all the way. DC characters are larger than life, get beat up even with near unlimited imunities, and get cripled by stupid things like glowing green moon rocks (ooh moon rocks destroy demi-gods). DC can bite me.

Since the early votes are running Marvel, some points for DC:

the Vertigo line (Sandman, Lucifer, old Doom Patrol)
Grant Morrison's run on JLA
Wolfman/Perez Teen Titans (25 years ago)
Legion of SuperHeroes "thirtysomething" series (15 years ago)

OK, I'm grasping at straws

You sure Are!!!

And why waste your Time...

Other than Superman, and possibly the Flash.... D.C was a waste of time... I mean Fuck!! Batman.. A millionaire with a million gadgets? Bull, you can figure out identities, and the whole leaping and bounding without powers.. is utter rubbish.

Now MARVEL, there was a comic..... Xmen, Fantastic Four... shall I just bow down to Stan Lee now?>:biggrin1: :biggrin1: :biggrin1:

I think Superman's boring, but Marvel's made a lot of boring comics too. Spiderman never did it for me, and Captain America, a guy with a shield?

Ah Matthew, you gotta have faith man... Daredevil was a brilliant character, and he gave hope to hundreds of disabled children. Truly an amazing character from their perspective.:biggrin1:

Well, Marvel has at least as much of a claim to being the best for X-Men alone, even excluding the mostly cheesy stuff out these days.

ohhhh a comics thread :-D

yay

I would also vote for marvel - namely for the baddies ;)
Dark Phoenix
Venom & Carnage
Grant Morrison's run on X-men was brilliant

although I did also really quite enjoy No Man's Land in the batman comics
and there's my whole harley quinn obsession as well - I have thing for psychotic blonde bimbos ;)

Sheeesh, you kids wouldn't know a comic from shinola.

To drive a stake through this debate, I need only point out that DC had the one & only Rex the Wonder Dog.

And Krypto the Super-Dog, and Ace the Bat-Hound.

Can I be number three? Which would put me.... right behind you.

Any thoughts on Civil War? Will it change anything?
