Zora,
I know what you mean about how deep that concern goes (obviously being a man!!. I was talking with my g/f the other day and she was suproised that I and my best friend (who are extremely close) didn't know how big each others cocks are. She said that if women had dicks all their friends would know how big each others was even if they had a small one. She said girls wouldn't be able to resist telling each other and it would have no bearing on whether you had a 9 inch cock or a 3 inch one.
I couldn't really understand this and pointed out it isn't having a penis and how big it is really, it's the mentality that goes with having a penis i.e men have it drilled in to them from a pretty young age through older boys, T.V, pornography that having a big willy is vital to satisfying ANY woman. Don't forget an early thing boys associate with being different from girls, aside from having shorter hair (in general) and not wearing pink Is haviing a willy. At a young age this is linked to your masculine identity and then you see all around you that size matters etc. PLus I think because of the sensitive nature there isn't much research in to it really. After all what does a self measured survey of 1000 men really show? Not much. I think if an extensive survey of tens of thousands of men who had to either be measured or measure and take a photo of the erection against the ruler was undertaken maybe guys would feel better but knowing that 300 guys at UCLA measured themselves and the average was 6 inches or whatever doesn't prove much. Depends what average they use as well....
I guess in general girls don't get so exposed to this, particularly porn, so they don't have it in their head that you must be packing 8 inches and up to satisfy a woman. I think women tend to see sex as one aspect of a relationship (albeit an important one to most) but men get fixated on it...I guess we are just more primitive Porn does a lot of damage (don't get me wrong I watched a lot of porn) but you do think that a) you should have a huge cock b)foreplay doesn't make much difference c) don't spend more than 30 seconds on giving oral d) all women should scream their heads off and also initially I couldn't work out why when I was having sex there wasn't a funky jazz soundtrack with slap bass in it!
The reincforcement thing is key but it sohouldn't be overdone. what I like about what my g/f does is she doesn't say it all the time or when we are having sex like "Oh my god your dick is so big" etc. She just mentions it casually. The other day we were talking about what things might be like if one thing was changed about each of us and to see if, whether the way we are now is the optimum way for us to be to compliment each other (change in temprament, interests, tastes, hair colour etc) and one thing she said was "I wonder what would happen if you had a small willy and I had large breasts". Just that lets me know that what she has said is true...another verbose post!!! Is there a reverse laxative and if so does it work on verbal diorrhea??
Take care

Winger, thanks for that open response. I am only this year coming to realise exactly how deep a man's concern over this issue really is. The reality is that the average penis size is around 5.5", so at 7.5 you are a full 2" about what most girls have seen. Now, these are just facts, but reinforcement from your partners goes a long way to help make it clear. Most women really don't judge men on penis size, and there are very few who would find you "not big enough"! The belief that all, most or even many women are size queens is just ludicrous, and completely induced by the porn industry. I think people who get their facts from the real world have a better chance of understanding who they are and where they fit in, so good for you!
