Winger, thanks for that open response. I am only this year coming to realise exactly how deep a man's concern over this issue really is. The reality is that the average penis size is around 5.5", so at 7.5 you are a full 2" about what most girls have seen. Now, these are just facts, but reinforcement from your partners goes a long way to help make it clear. Most women really don't judge men on penis size, and there are very few who would find you "not big enough"! The belief that all, most or even many women are size queens is just ludicrous, and completely induced by the porn industry. I think people who get their facts from the real world have a better chance of understanding who they are and where they fit in, so good for you!
[post=272393]Quoted post[/post]

Zora,

I know what you mean about how deep that concern goes (obviously being a man!!). I was talking with my g/f the other day and she was suproised that I and my best friend (who are extremely close) didn't know how big each others cocks are. She said that if women had dicks all their friends would know how big each others was even if they had a small one. She said girls wouldn't be able to resist telling each other and it would have no bearing on whether you had a 9 inch cock or a 3 inch one.

I couldn't really understand this and pointed out it isn't having a penis and how big it is really, it's the mentality that goes with having a penis i.e men have it drilled in to them from a pretty young age through older boys, T.V, pornography that having a big willy is vital to satisfying ANY woman. Don't forget an early thing boys associate with being different from girls, aside from having shorter hair (in general) and not wearing pink :D Is haviing a willy. At a young age this is linked to your masculine identity and then you see all around you that size matters etc. PLus I think because of the sensitive nature there isn't much research in to it really. After all what does a self measured survey of 1000 men really show? Not much. I think if an extensive survey of tens of thousands of men who had to either be measured or measure and take a photo of the erection against the ruler was undertaken maybe guys would feel better but knowing that 300 guys at UCLA measured themselves and the average was 6 inches or whatever doesn't prove much. Depends what average they use as well....

I guess in general girls don't get so exposed to this, particularly porn, so they don't have it in their head that you must be packing 8 inches and up to satisfy a woman. I think women tend to see sex as one aspect of a relationship (albeit an important one to most) but men get fixated on it...I guess we are just more primitive  Porn does a lot of damage (don't get me wrong I watched a lot of porn) but you do think that a) you should have a huge cock b)foreplay doesn't make much difference c) don't spend more than 30 seconds on giving oral d) all women should scream their heads off and also initially I couldn't work out why when I was having sex there wasn't a funky jazz soundtrack with slap bass in it!

The reincforcement thing is key but it sohouldn't be overdone. what I like about what my g/f does is she doesn't say it all the time or when we are having sex like "Oh my god your dick is so big" etc. She just mentions it casually. The other day we were talking about what things might be like if one thing was changed about each of us and to see if, whether the way we are now is the optimum way for us to be to compliment each other (change in temprament, interests, tastes, hair colour etc) and one thing she said was "I wonder what would happen if you had a small willy and I had large breasts". Just that lets me know that what she has said is true...another verbose post!!! Is there a reverse laxative and if so does it work on verbal diorrhea??

Take care
W

Um, if there is, maybe I should take it too!

I love being here and getting to learn all the "guy secrets". FWIW, Kinsey's study had 5000 men in it, and although self measured it said the average was either 5.1 or 5.5, I don't remember which. Now, wouldn't you think self-measurement would tend to add size rather than subtract? Anyway, this is the one I believe the most. It is certainly true that very little studying has been done on the larger end of the scale, and I think this is mostly due to the male ego. No man wants to believe that anyone on earth has a bigger dick than his own, so why study them?

Women get to obsess about our whole bodies! Our breats are never big/full enough, our asses are never slim enough, out stomachs never flat enough. We're basically supposed to look like 12 year old boys with enormous tits! God forbid we have freckles or scars, we may never show ourselves at all. The reason this is good to know is becuase while you're obsessing about your penises, we are so obsessed with our own self-esteem issues, we've never even thought about your dick size! This is true of the increidbly VAST majority of women. This is why we're so immature about sex, we don'y have dicks to play with! We don't jack off with our girlfriends, we've never seen anyone's vagina but our own. We don't usually even learn to masutrbate until long after we begin having sex for the most part. Sex is unknown and scary for us, we're so afraid we'll "do something wrong" or our body will not please you, or we think we smell bad, blah, blah, blah. Seeing your dick naked is what arouses us, we haven't seen too many until we have sex with one! It's the vulnerability of being naked together and not being rejected that makes us want to be with you. If you tell us we look good to you, and we can relax our own fears, we might just get around to seeing you as beautiful too.

Zora and Winger,

Your last 2-3 exchanges sum how I feel too, and were right on target.
The only erect penis I've ever seen in person has been my own, so it was nice to hear from my girlfriends that my size was perfectly fine with them, and amounst the largest they'd ever seen. Me and my friends never did the show me yours and mine thing, or jerked off together, or even talked about our own sizes.
We did talk about you women folk a lot!

I also found it strange that my girlfriend with the most prior experience, was the most concerned about being nude except when having sex. She had no problem at all getting naked to make love, but didn't like to be naked otherwise. We spent so much time together (naked and otherwise) that she finally became very comfortable with her body (which was perfectly fine!) and would walk around my apartment nude after a shower. She said it was because I was so comfortable being nude in front of her that convinced her to relax and not always grab a towel or bring her clothes with her to the bathroom. I certainly didn't mind seeing her with a towel wrapped around her hair and a smile on her face as the only things she was wearing. :D

She became so comfortable with nudity around me that she was mostly naked changing her clothes in front of me, about 2 years after our romantic relationship ended. We were talking and she needed to change clothes to go out. When she realized what happened, she said "Oops!" then "Fuckit!, its nothing you haven't seen before!" I didn't mind. :p

We all have body image issues, men and women, gay or straight (and everything inbetween). I am not a nudist, but I do admire their carefree attitude no matter what shape or size they are!

LapDog :p

I can absolutely see what you mean about womens general self esteem issues, I couldn't believe it when my g/f asked if she was fat the other day??!! Just to put it into perspective she is about 5' 7" and weighs all off 8 stone 10 (about 122 pounds). She was moaning because this time last year she weighed 8st 3 pounds! Thing is this time last year (we've been going out for about 5 months) she drank a lot, did a lot of pills (she does no drugs now, I don't touch it) and existed on instant noodles and soup. Since she's been going out with me I've been cooking for us and stuff, I'm very fit so eat quite well. Thing is visibly I can't see any increase in weight and if I did so what it's hardly going to stop me finding her the biggest turn on ever!

Her previous b/f was a real jerk and when she was getting ready to go out he used to flick through porn mags, find the worst looking woman in it witht he worst body and say "oh you look like her" then go and jack off to a picture of another woman in the bathroom! True story, I guess he was compensating for his small penis  Anyway that gave her a real complex about her body which is ridiculous if I could post a picture of her I would , she's got an amazing body...Anyway I think the tables are turning now because a lot of guys feel very insecure about their bodies, feeling they have to look like Brad Pitt in Troy. To be honest I'd say it's about time as well...I don't think anyone should have to measure up to a standard of physical beauty because whats beautiful to one isn't so to another necessarily but it's about time us guys started to feel the heat really until the pressure is taken off women.

I don't really like guys in general if you hadn't guessed!

Anyway I don't have anything to worry about seeing as I do actually look like Brad Pitt in Troy ;)

You're so awesome, Winger, and I bet you do look like Brad Pitt.

I know I was well into my twenties before I even began to address some of my body image issues. I thought because I wasn't anorexic, I was okay, but my head was full of all kinds of garbage that prevented me from really enjoying my life. Of course, the media doesn't help. There are all kinds of examples of large slovenly men on tv in relationships with beautiful women. In real life I have often found that a guy will have all kinds of criteria for who he would date, even if he himself is no prize at all. Actors like Dennis Franz, Gene Hackman, Gene Wilder, are often paired up with the starlet of the moment, and I'm left with my jaw gaping open. Same with the porn industry- beautiful girls with generally unappealing guys. Ron Jeremy (give me a break!) John Holmes, these guys are fuuuuuugly! Not only does it make me hate straight porn, it makes me hate men. (well, straight ones who can't stand to look at an attractive guy without getting insanely jealous, and that's the whole reason guys in str8 porn have to be plain.) Sad thing is, everything's always about the money. Str8 guys are the main buyers of porn, so their tastes are served. I'll stick to gay porn, thank you very much. Gay guys are the main buyers, so the men are far better looking!

Well I've never had a hard time saying if I think another guy is good looking. I'll quite happily say Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Jon Bon Jovi and a load of others are good looking(though not to all women). I don't find them sexually attractive as I am 100 per cent straight but I can use my quite frankly enormous....brain ;) to theorise what I would find appealing in a woman. Harrison Ford would do it for me in a big way I think, when he was a bit younger obviously I'm not into gerontophilia! I think that comes form being very close to my mother and not being raise with an ingrained homophobic macho side (not for want of my dad trying!)

I think what women find attractive is a lot more varied. Most men (99.99999999 recurring%) will agree Halle Berry or Elle MAcpherson etc are gorgeous but I find some women wilt over Brad Pitt but others don't find him a turn on at all, women in general seem to be much more complex in what they find attractive and they also tend to find less obvious things attractive.

For example one of my girlfriends favourite parts of me is my voice, it's "soft but quite deep and manly" according to her and she likes the way that when I do speak in group situations (believe it or not I'm very quiet in social situations) people especially other women stop and listen to me which she says is to do with the quality of my voice and what I say.

To me that is a very female thing, to find a voice attractive. men just go: tits, butt, legs and face. Rarely will they say anything more specific, eyes are a big one for me and smile, hair as well as I like to smell it and play with it and it's a cliche but brains, I love it when a woman is intelligent and can challenge me and debate things.

My view of women is more feminie for example although I love your traditional sex symbols one woman who always turns me on is Janeane Garofalo (spelling?) the comedienne. Every time I see her in a film or on TV interviewed I just find her so attractive, she's by no means physically unattractive but she isn't as beautiful as pin-ups but her mind and wit just turn me on and make her so appealing.

I don't watch porn now really but I know I didn't like seeing a pot bellied guy with a mullett shagging Jenna Jameson...doesn't seem right to me. Can't say I'll watch any gay porn anytime soon though  my open mindedness about other men ends at acknowledging if a guy is good looking.

PS I only look like Brad Pitt in that I have long blond hair...and a six pack but he's got em beat in probably every other department. Oh well I'm sure he has a small willy or something..doesn't he? It's only fair!!!!

Winger, I'm sure if Brad Pitt was hung, we'd all know about it. If you look at him closely, he really doesn't have perfect features. His face is not symmetrical, he has some kind of pock marks on one side of his face, his eyes are squinty, but for some reason, when you back up and look at the whole picture, he's very pretty. Maybe that's what I like about him, but I also like Gabrielle Byrne, Vincent Gallo, Julian Sands, Christian Bale- I don't really have a "type". I find a guy attractive if I like the role he's playing (movie stars, that is). In real life I find a guy more attractive if he's smart and quirky. Ugh, Tom Cruise is too full of himself for too little reason!

Lapdog, I think it's womderful that you got you g/f to feel better about being naked. I wish more women knew that less-than-supermodel girls are still pretty to their mates.

Don't diss the Cruiser. Why are people so down on the guy?

Anyways, as regards insecurity and body image problems, there is nothing sexier than someone with flaws who is confident enough to ignore them. A few pock-marks, some freckles, a bit of puppy fat, whatever - if you can recognise that these give you character rather than make you ugly, you are more attractive than a "perfect" body will ever be.

Hung UK, I can't agree more!

As for "the Cruiser", I've never liked the roles he chose until more recently. It always seemed that he was just playing some arrogant bastard, which should have been easy for him- no acting involved. However, I did like him in Vanilla Sky and he turned in a star-worthy performance in Magnolia, which shocked me to my foundation. I still don't find him particularly "interesting" looking though, perhaps because he has no "flaws" that would give his appearance character.

No flaws? Have a look at a closeup of his puss.

Notice that the right front tooth is centered - his whole upper jaw is skewed to the left.

Cary Grant had the same 'flaw.'

Wow, I never noticed that, Pecker- you're a wealth of information! I still don't find him attractive in the least, I guess it just wasn't enough to overcome years of dislike.

What is considered "large"?

It's when you're in the hospital for minor surgery, and you need to catheterized, and you hear one nurse yell to another, "Bring the spool in here"

It's when you go into the WALMART pharmacy section looking for OUR condoms, and the "associate" says the trojan MAGNUMS will fit in a pinch without confirming it.

It's when you do laps at the local pool ,and you have.. a wardrobe malfunction when the swimming shorts netting comes loose and the local MILFs think you're a mutant manta ray.

When it's if the MAN SHOW ever got more co ed with the trampoline bit, you'd see guys getting knocked out in one shot after seeing the girls doing their bits. :p

It's during the summertime and if you wear denim shorts like I do you have make sure the legs go past the knee.

It's in the lockerroom shower you're cleaning "yourself", and the guys wonder how you find enough soap for the job.

When you're about ready to have sex with your date/gf/wife/significant other, and she/he uses 1/2 of the bottle of KY/ baby oil after seeing you out in the open, and then later going into the open.

From my experience most women consider 7-8 inches as being large, and they probably wouldn't want anything bigger. But this is LPSG, so I am wondering if the women here are open to the 10+ "huge" category or just the same as most women, looking for the slightly large size (7 or 8")

No hugelyhung, not only am I open to the 10+ 'huge' category I welcome it. I dont consider that preference to be standard by any means, as Ive said in a post elsewhere, but it is my personal preference.

It's also not a 'fantasy' size for me. Despite my ethnicity (angloAsian) and size (5`4) I do have a longer/deeper vagina than most girls. The average women has a depth of 3-4 inches and is capable of doubling that when aroused (why the average woman can take the average man). A very small percentage of women have a depth of 5-7 inches doubled when aroused. Im in that very tiny bracket.

As a result I've yet to find a guy so long I couldn't take him in all the way to the balls. The longest so far was a measured 11.2 inches and as i was very aroused the length wasn't an issue for me. Of course, if i wasn't aroused then 7 or 8 could hurt like hell. Girth is usually a bigger factor although Ive always found it more a case of taking your time the first time then everything is fine after.

Basically, Im built to take a very large cock so why not enjoy them as large as I can, knowing that most girls would never be able to take completely a guy of that extreme size.
[post=270747]Quoted post[/post]

I envy you. I'm black and my man is 14 inches long and I can only take about 9 inches.

1000inchpenis: Hi,

I was just searching the net for reassurance that I wasn't "small" (I’m a 18 year old guy).

I want to think I’m larger than average (who doesn’t!) but I do think the average penis size is about 5.5inch, and not the 6-.6.5 inch you see on some internet surveys!
(I’m sure 90% of guys don’t tell the truth in these surveys).

I’m about 6.4inch long, 5inch girth. I think that’s a bit above average ?

But I am asking in the large penis support group so I’m bound to feel small around you guys. !

Read more reliable medical surveys. Kinsey put average at about 5.5", so it sound like you're well over average. I think the tendancy to exaggerate is prevalent everywhere, so take heart.

I agree Pecker lol :D

In my experience guys with slightly above average cocks tend to boast about being really big at every opportunity, yet guys who are legitimately big tend to be more demure about it. Which is kinda odd, don't you think?

Seems to me the majority of very hung guys are secure about their size while its the smaller men who are more egotistical and eager to prove something?

Zora, once again I agree with you. It seems that no-matter how many times some guys are told they're bigger than average or how many times they've heard a girl say 'wow' or 'ouch' they still feel the need to compete.

I know a few times I've been listening to some well-hung guys chat and been surprised at the way they pretty much dismissed as pure fantasy the idea that there could be men out there bigger than them. Now those were guys in the 8.5-9 range who should have been able to say, 'there might be bigger, but for the average woman Im still huge'. Just couldn't help from competing though.

As Spank pointed out, what are they competing for, the right to be too big for most girls? What's the point in wanting to be so large there is only a tiny percentage of women who can comfortably take you?

Spatters, welcome to the group, what a great avatar shot!!

The same as everybody else! Sorry to sound snotty, but I hate newbie questions, as I've answered this a thousand times, even recently. I feel like a broken record.
Average size men fall between 5 to 6.5", almost 90% of men fit there, so about 90% of my lovers have as well. Anyone who says all her lovers have been huge is full of shit.
