My guy does the banana up-curve which makes it difficult to accurately measure.

So to my geometrically inclined people familiar with this variety of package how do you do it?

This question might actually be important in that it could potentially cut down on the 9in+ self-assessments that tossed around like hotcakes on here.

I know that measuring along the underside is going to skew results, but if you've ever looked at a banana, measuring along the top will skew things the other way.

For me, there tends to be about a 2-2 1/2 inch difference between the two measurements so is there some kind of secret technique to figuring out the true lenght? Do you average the two? Enlighten me!

Don't really have any good advice since I've never had a curve. However, your best (most accurate) bet would be to use one of those small tape measures since they can follow the curve or a bendable ruler. I have a bendable ruler, quite convenient.

Actually, your best bet would be to lay a piece of string on top of your thing and then measure the correct amount of string (no cheating lol).

The problem with averaging the two measurements of an upward (or downward) curve is determining where to start on the underside. My cock curve slightly to the left and almost imperceptibly upward. The only time I was ever measured at over 8 inches was when a girlfriend did it with her seamstress tape and measured the outside (right side) of the curve from pubic bone clear to the piss slit at 8-1/8". I could probably measure outside and inside and take an average because I'd be starting at the pubic bone in both cases. But how does one define the starting point of the underside of an erect cock (which extends almost to the anus)? Since my curve isn't all that pronounced I'm happy to stick with the bone pressed straight line (ruler) measurement, which on me is 7-3/4 to 7-7/8 inches.

I have only been using cloth tape but try taking a banana and measuring along the top; you'll get a measurement of say 6in on the top while something like 9in on the bottom. The bottom of course isn't right but neither is the top.

Averaging sounds good on paper, I'm just not sure if its mathematically accurate.

The string thing is a great idea though. I was pretty happy with the result haha.

p.s. bendable rulers are awesome; lots of secondhand uses while doggy-ing :)

I was also wondering the same thing, because Measuring along the top I get a measurement of about 6.5. and measuring along the bottom it is closer to 7.75 or 8. I also have a upwards banana curve, and straightening it out when fully erect is not an option because that would be a painful. So I think there should be a consensus on how to measure curves. I for one go with the bottom measurement because when I have sex the entire length of my penis is being used all the way to my balls. :)
