What is the deal between 'straight' men and transexuals?

I think any "gay" explanation is utterly irrelevant. In fact I don't think it really has anything to do with any body part, because I am not sure that there is that much difference between a pre op and post op transexual in terms of the attraction.

I think that the attraction is mental. Transexuals are fascinating, exotic (out there)and therefore alluring, a challenge to the experience of sexuality, that some men are willing to put themselves before. Those men who need to put a barricade around their sexuality will feel threatened and label it gay which demonstartes their sexualityphobia.

Trannys view themselves as WOMEN! NOT MEN! Despite the fact that they have male genetalia and can't fully hide their masculine features their gender concept is that of a woman. THEY don't think of themselves as men with breast implants and makeup. YOU do.

Perhaps men like myself, who find trannys enigmatically attractive, understand gender concept better than you, a woman who ignorantly classifies men who appreciate their sexuality as gay, while ignoring the self-image of the transsexuals themselves.

A friend of mine told me that in his opinion it was a close to gay as he could get without crossing over. I guess in his eyes it didn't fully cross the line so he could still consider himself straight. The fact that the person he was fucking still had a penis didn't matter since he was only interested in the tits and ass. With the risk of sounding judgemental, I find there to be something very unappealingly unnatural about trannies. I could never get into it. In fact, I don't really think anything is more of a turn-off to me.

Of course, this is sexually speaking. Even though I'm straight, I'm very much into queer art (both passively enjoying and actively organizing events that in some way would be characterized as queer art events), which has resulted in prolonged and continued association and friendships with all sorts of queers. Their perception of gender and their active sexuality doesn't bother me one bit. But in terms of sexuality, trying to deny the fact that a trans is ultimately a man (pre-op, at least, regardless of how they see themselves), could easily be interpreted as sexuality phobia as well.

I wouldn't say that liking trannies makes you gay (yeah, the whole gay thing, it sounds so ridiculous), but it is a case of straying from the confinement of heterosexuality. Needless to say, there's nothing wrong with that.

I am hideously vanilla in my own heterosexuality, but I will forever encourage people to embrace their aberrations. We all have them. Fuck all the labels.

I actually became friendly with a trans that was a client of mine. I do bookkeeping/accounting work. She worked in the adult biz, did escorting, stripping, etc .... One day while conversing she mentioned that almost 99% of her clients are straight married men and almost 99% of the time they give her a blowjob till she comes in their mouth. Yet, the science has pointed to a lot of self-described straight men into it inspite having minimal arousal to homosexual pornography on a physical and cerebral (tested) level - so it could be this other in the middle of the Kinsey scale.

These are my favourite answers.
A trans that looks like a woman, a person who doesn't look like a guy, but can understand the needs of a guy.
A trans that looks like a man trying to be a woman is NOT sexy at all, often times the exagerated feminenity is a dead giveaway and a big turn off.

A 'woman' with something different is interesting.
A guy can be a hetero and be curious about that shit.
