Do you think we put a lot of expectations on partners?
All the emotional aspects plus rousing sex, especially as we age?

I look at it as my life mate is by default my closest friend and companion. But most of my partners were friends first.
With the exception of Skinny Hippie. That was lightning from the heavens, and we had no choice.

Great question hunni, I am very demanding and I know it, a lot of guys haven't been able to handle my crazyness or sexual demands never mind bless me with children. I always felt that I was the dominant one in all my other relationships and that I was a millstone around their neck sometimes, somehow it's different with Mike, he really knows how to handle me and nothing seems to be too much trouble without him even thinking about it. even when he's been working away and comes home worn out he always (not that I expect it) brings me a gift and the first thing he wants is to take my body (of which have been some of the most mind blowing sessions ever!)
It just kinda works, I don't know what it is, maybe because he's a older than me, has a strong personality while also being exceptionally well hung and a great guy with it! But I really think it's more than that, something you just can't put your finger on if you know what I mean. all I know is that it works and as damn near perfect as I could ever hope for

Of course sex is important. But if i'm already in a relationship, it means that what i want in sex is a human connection with a person i love, trust, care. 5% of the time can be sex just for lust or fun, 95% of the time is sex with the person i love.
