My favorite thing to buy when I go to Sam's is a brick (12 packs) of Orbit Sweet Mint chewing gum. lol :)

A brick is about $9.00 (online anyway).

Books I think they are cheaper there than anywhere else. Otherwise I prefer BJ's Wholesale Club or Costco, both of which usually have excellent deals on meats, produce, and seafood.

Mmm they also have these amazing egg rolls that come in a purple box and they are individually wrapped for re-sale. I can't think of what the name is on the box but they are also sold by Schwann's.

If I have to do Super Bowl, I make a Jalapeno Cheese Dip--Velveeta cheese, Manwich sloppy joe with ground beef...add some sauteed onions...cumin...cilantro...sliced and diced jalapenos...and diced tomatoes.

And I buy two boxes of the Mini Corn Dogs. (Honey Batter) and bake those and serve along with the cheese dip. Along with some good to drink.

I hope they wouldn't catch me dead there either. But death will come for you when you least expect it.

I avoid shopping at those warehouse stores like Costco because I can never get out of there without spending at least $200. I end up buying stuff I don't need just because it's too cheap to pass up. Ever go thru a whole gallon of mayonaise?

Shopping at warehouse stores also ultimately limits choice. These stores only stock what they think will sell big and not other items that may not be the "season's hit." Walmart stated that they want to put Toys R Us out of business for example. You can get every Barbie at TRU and the season's seller at Walmart. Just a thought, but I don't want one company controlling what merchandise I can find, sans ebay.
