I love it! No one hears the new 50cal I just got when I shoot it. Nothing but hills and trees for miles...I have to drive 25 min just to reach a convenience store.
I do hike my property...420 acres...I haven't seen it all YET.

My hometown: 67 (Somewhat walkable)
My appartment: 60 (Somewhat walkable)
My future appartment: 80 (Very walkable)

The weird thing is that my hometown is pretty small so you can walk to almost ANY place in 15 minutes or less.

When I put just my zip code in I was placed about a mile north of where I actually live. Score of 66. When I put my actual street address in I got a score of 49. Guess if I didn't have transportation I'd be getting all kinds of exercise. The walk to walmart or foodmaxx is about 1.6 miles from my home. That would be some good daily exercise. hmm that's actually a good thought.

I got a 70.....which would be true if I actually patronized any of the places close by, but I don't. Scuzzy bar, dirty restaurants, sketchy liquor stores and I buy my sex toys online, not at a sex shop!

Ok, I live in a bad neighbourhood. A walk isn't a good idea.

67, which sounds a bit low. Does 'walkability' actually mean 'spitting distance'? Because I can - and do - walk everywhere. 3 minutes to the nearest bar, food outlet and convenience stores, but 13-15 minutes to the supermarket or my favourite pub isn't a hardship.

^ I think it means the over all ease of walking to a number of business locations, parks, schools, movie theatre, churches, hospitals etc. That is why my NY score was very high and my Honolulu was so low. It's not easy to walk in my neighborhood for one thing there are no sidewalks and it's very hilly. The only thing that is easy to walk to is my mailbox, the next door neighbor and the tennis court. I'm surprised I got a 17 you really have to drive where I live.

I scored a 9. I live on the same street as the town hall and the police and fire departments. The post office is just over a mile away, but you can't walk there (well, I'm sure you could, but there are no sidewalks and it's along a very busy road). The nearest grocery store is probably only 5 miles away, but along the same very busy road. There's pretty much nothing else in my town.

My college scores a 57, which is quite ridiculous for the students because literally everything you need is right on campus. You can definitely walk to wherever you need to go. Although, I guess if you wanted groceries, it'd be quite a walk to the nearest one.
