What is your sport?

awellhungboi: I think dodgeball was the only sport I was ever good at!
Other than four-square.  Probably the last sports I've played, for that matter.  I spent most of my junior and high school career skipping P.E. and hiding in the library, reading Charles Fort, Dostoyevski, and Nietzsche.  Explains a lot, doesn't it?

Mysteriously, though, I've always been in pretty good shape.

Don't really watch sports, either. But sometimes, if I'm really horny and desperate, I'll watch women's tennis.  Maybe there's some on now.

7x6andchg: Oh, my LHJ, I HATED dodgeball...

I play softball now, but didn't do anything in HS except wrestle...for one semester...that was it.

I "recreationally" play hockey - since it's cold up here 6 months of the year (or so they would have you believe)...and some football. Had a touch football league I was in some years back that played in the Metrodome...where the Vikings play. Cool, that.

Other than that, I'm an avid baseball fan, football fan, and hockey fan.

Go Twins! Go Packers! Go Wild!

In high school and college I was on the swimming, wrestling and soccer teams. I also enjoy water skiing and tennis. Does rock climbing count as a sport? If so, there's another I like. I watch various sports on TV.

wvalady1968: Some tennis in HS. Biking is my current fave. I have a Trek 720 and my guy has a racing bike, can't remember the name, something Japanese.

There are a lots of "Rails to Trails" sites within easy driving range, and we love to spend the weekend doing that.

Drive up on Friday night, have a great relaxing :p night in a lodge or hotel, bike Saturday, some afternoon delight, dinner and more fun, a leisurely breakfast Sunday morning before starting back.

It'll cure anything! ::)

I like watching hockey, though I've never played.

Frisbee is kind of fun, but there are too many dirty hippies that play it.

Judo is alot of fun, I like throwing people and should get back into it.

Lately I've been interested in Kendo but don't know of any dojos that teach it in my area, and its expensive initially.

Then... love fencing, equestrian polo, riding (I like watching steeple chases), yachting (especially in Croatia, on the Dalmatian Coast, or in Belgium, at Knokke Heist and Blankenberge). And golf (the Swiss fields are the best in continental Europe : Montreux or, even better, Crans Montana).

Hey, I thought I'd be the only fencer of the group - s'pose it's much bigger on the mainland, though. Not much into other sports - hated PE at school and never really recovered!

I played football and baseball when I was a little kid, but it was only with the other neighborhood kids. Being a small fry, it was so much easier to toss me the ball and tell me to run like hell. What, as if way bigger guys wouldn't compel me to do so? (They had a hard enough time trying to get me to come back.)

I got into volleyball in college, I suppose, because you don't have to be particularly athletic to play it. It's just fun hitting a ball around; I prefer sand to floor.

Speaking of fencing, that's a course I wouldn't mind taking sometime. It sounds like a lot of fun.

But, other than that... nah... don't care much for sports. Watching them is about as mindless as that damn Helicopter game I got hooked on [referenced [link=http://www.lpsg.org/cgi-bin/YaBB.cgi?board=99;action=display;num=1063236910]here[/link]]. It's even worse here because people are pretty fanatical about UK, even when they suck ass at football. (Who knew?)

DizzyGus: I am a sports nut! ;D

Above all others I am a HOCKEY PLAYER and FAN. I've played forever (I am a Left Wing) and I play 3 or 4 times a week currently. I watch hockey on television and I go to NHL games all during the season.

I play basketball but I completely suck at it. I'm mostly just good at taking up space down underneath the basket and making easy lay-ups. :p

I play softball and baseball during the summertime. I mostly play third base and first base.

I have played some football and it's pretty fun. And yes, I was a TIGHT END. :D There wasn't enough action in football for me, though. Hockey is faster and requires much more skill to master.

I play racquetball with my sister from time to time. She's a full foot shorter than I am, she's 6 years older than me and she's had three kids and she STILL usually kicks my ass. :D

I also play tennis once in a while and I am actually not too bad at it.

I am a sand volleyball player, too. That is FUN and it is a GREAT way to meet hotties. ;D

I don't play soccer but I have three good friends that are HEAVY into it so I watch them play. I am afraid that if I played, I would get carried away and body check somebody. They tell me that that is frowned upon in soccer. :p

I workout 6-7 days a week. I lift weights 3-4 days a week for about an hour and I run/walk/jog 6-7 days a week for an hour too. I love staying in shape for a lot of reasons. ::)

Being active and healthy is just a part of who I am and I love the competitive part too!!

Wait, does that count as a sport?

awellhungboi: Ultimately, yes, Gig.

Me, I like riding my NEW bike a LOT.

Other than that I stick to shooting craps in the alley beside the bloodbank.
