ravenously: when did you relize that you were endowed? I knew I was bigger than average at 14, but I thought I was only slightly bigger. I didn't realize how much bigger I was till I was about 17 or 18. Though after coming to LPSG I don't feel quite so big anymore :eek: LOL.
 
I'm one of those who knew from an early age. It happened that I was taken to a specialist in asthma in London at around age 7, who conducted an allergy test on me. My parents showed him what they thought was eczema at the top of my legs (and possibly linked with my allergy, whatever it was).

But the red sores I had were nothing to do with eczema, and everything to do with friction; he told them what should have been obvious, I was abnormally large. I think this must have included both penis and testes. Later I discovered that other little boys didn't get this sort of trouble, and didn't need to put lotion and/or talc there.

I thought little more about it until puberty struck; then I thought about it a lot.

I had about 6" when I was 10 yrs old, and I remember reading that was average for adullts. I did a comparison with a friend when I was 12 and over 7" and he pulled out some magazines to show me just how I compared to the porn guys. Not bad for 12!

Given the way your poll is organized, with overlapping age ranges, I picked 14-16. The moment of realization definitely happened when I was 14 and measured it at 7", knowing that average full-grown size was supposed to be around 6". It was just such a shocker to learn that I (always the shortest-in-height guy in my class) was bigger than average that I certainly felt like I was huge. But I guess it wasn't till I hit the 8" mark around age 15 and assumed further growth was likely that I knew I was really getting to the category that most people thought of as very well endowed.
 
As I've said here before I don't recall anyone mentioning my size til I was in my 20's even though I was active at 15. Of course at that age the sex was pretty furtive and there was't a whole lot of conversation.

But then I wasn't all that interested in size anyway. I remember one kid I saw several times at the local t-room (cottage), during my teen years, who had a massively long dick and was very popular with the old queers looking to suck or get fucked. I became aware that I was bigger than most when I had my first boyfriend at about 22. Comments started being made. i voted for 12-14 yrs old but its a tough call. as kids a group of us would swim in local streams and ponds and sometimes we'd strip. my dick was bigger than other kids' including older boys who'd often be there too. most often it was these older kids who seemed impressed enough to comment. that reminds me of a humerous incident involving my younger brother who ended up standing next to an older kid nearly twice his physical size and weight but whose dick was smaller than my brother's.

I was summer school Biology Class. I had to make it up due to a schedule mix up. Well we're talking about the male anatomy when one of the girls asked what the average size for a 14 year old should be. The teacher (A very cool hippie type) said..."Anywhere from 4 to 8 inches." Some girls gasped, most giggled. We (guys) laughed. He then said that some of the guys are still growing so not to compare until we're at least 18 or so. At lunch that same girl asked me (she had a note book) asked me if I wouldn't mind telling her how big I was. I said I didn't know. So she said to measure and tell her in the morning. After I showered that night I measured myself erect at 7 1/4 by 5 1/8. When I told her the next day she said I was the third biggest guy in class so far. She presented her "research" to the teacher who laughed for 30 minutes then gave her extra points for being creative. She even did a class curve chart. Would you believe the smallest was 2 1/2" by 2". The largest was 8 1/2 by 5 1/2. Only she knew who was who.
 
I knew when I was 5 (I had a 5" hard at 5) that I was bigger than most. As I got older and was around more people my age I was even more sure about it. When I was around 9-10 I had sex with a 14 year old neighbor girl because of my size. Some how her brother, which was a friend, told her about it (7"hard) and she had to find out for herself. I think I was around 16 when I read on jackinworld that the average is 6" and measured mine and it was 7" long. I remember thinking 'at least I'm above average' but not thinking I was huge or anything yet at the same time not wanting to be bigger.

Before then though a few people had pulled my pants down (on numerous occassions), and the comments I got back from friends (I was usually too drunk to remember lol) were not to worry that it was 'big and bushy' but I just thought nice and 'well it's not that big but thanks'.

Now my penis is in limbo around the 8x6 mark. Also as I was growin up everyone was saying they were big lol so I didnt really know I was bigger than other guys and for all I know all my friends could have bigger dicks than me :p But yeah at about 16 I thought 'well I'm bigger than average'. Can't say it was a big life altering thing though, it was just a nice thing to know lol.

Though it's nothing compared to some of the members I have seen here, it's something I am proud of.
