What kind of pump is this?

I've been a lurker here for years, and always just enjoyed reading, but today saw a strange type of pump and just had to ask the experts...

Being an avid pumper I would LOVE to know what he's using at the 3:08 mark...

He is using a length of 3" Tygon Tubing attached to his regular cylinder. That is why it collapses as vaccum is pulled on the cylinder.

That is no doubt scott taylor.vacu-tech sells a pump similar to that..but it has a gauge.
