Ohio here. We get points for Jeffrey Dahmer, too. He moved here when he was 8 years old. I am sure he was normal before that.

But on the plus side, we produced Chrissie Hinds, Devo, and the original rock DJ, Allen Freid. They all went on to become serial killers though. So the points for them probably need to be pro-rated.

Oh, we also have Amish.

Forgot that Mr. Dahmer was originally from Ohio. Also forgot to mention that
WI also leads the nation in obesity and brandy consumption.

Ed Gein

...because serial killers  good spelling too.

I didn't know the correct spelling so went with a spelling rule I remembered from German classes a century ago. Apparently Mr. Gein (wouldn't that be pronounced gine in German?) was of a different ethnicity. I could be catty as to why I assumed he was German, but I'll leave that sort of talk to a couple other posters here. I stand corrected.

Gein's ancestors were indeed Krauts. His mother's birth name was Augusta Lehrke, which could indeed scarcely be more Teutonic-sounding. Fuck only knows why or when they chose to pronounce their surname as geen. In-breeding, maybe? :biggrin1:

Anyone who would sink so low as to alter spellings in the only language I could spell fluently would have no qulams about being a serial killer.

I think you win. I wanna come visit you. ;X

You would be most welcome. ;-)

That is a great photo of Puerto de la Cruz on the north coast of the island. The North has a sub tropical climate which accounts for the lush vegetation. Here in the south it is very arid - our last rain was February and we are unlikely to see any more until November or December.

:( oh, I forgot I don't drink anymore. *sobs*

You don't have to drink to enjoy Ibiza - but it helps. LOL

BTW it would take the best part of a week to get to Ibiza by boat from here.

"Ibiza Airport is one of the Island's largest employers: 2,200 people actually work at the airport, whilst thousands more (taxi drivers, bus drivers, guides, etc) are indirectly employed. Currently, between 8 and 10 per cent of Ibiza's population make a living directly or indirectly from the activities undertaken in the airport grounds."
