It's almost summer! ( for most of us  )
Since I am a bit of a movie buff, what overblown, overhyped popcorn muncher are you most looking forward to?

I hardly ever go to the movies, but I'm sure I'm going to see Spider-Man 3 soon, so I picked that. The next Harry Potter movie is a close second from that list.

I don't know when it's coming out, or if it's even begun filming yet, but I can't wait to see Meet the Little Focker. It's probably the only movie that I really want to go see in the theaters. Most of the others I can wait the three or four months 'til they come out on DVD.

I voted for both Spidey and the ogre. I've been a fan of Shrek since Larry King did the voice of the wicked stepsister in Pt. 2.

Well, being a diehard spidey fan to the core, no guess work which flick I'm going to see.

I've heard yet a 3rd Resident Evil movie is due out, and rumor has that Milla Jovovich will show more smurf than the end of the original.

Of the ones you listed I was most looking forward to Spider-man 3. I already saw it on Tuesday, though.

Of the ones remaining, the one I am most likely to see is Transformers. But that one I am more dreading than looking forward to. I have to see it out of morbid curiosity if nothing else. I hate Michael Bay, I hate Don Murphy, and I'm doubtful this movie will be anything short of a total disaster.... but I'm still hoping against hope that it is good and even if it's not I have to see it anyway. I'm buying a ticket to something else though and then sneaking into the theather. Bay's not getting any of my money.

    Potter... snore

Shrek... the first two were overrated and the third just looks plain bad.

Pirates... I'll probably go see it, and then forget it shortly thereafter.

You forgot The Simpsons (should be good), and Fantastic 4: RotSS (should be bad).

P.S. Milla Jovovich was hot when she was 16 and still pretty when she did The Fifth Element but she doesn't really do anything at all for me anymore. Plus the last Resident Evil movie was horrible. Would be better just to rent Return to the Blue Lagoon again.

    PIRATES!!!

I am a TOTAL sucker for the POTC movies - I'll probably download a rip of the HP movie when it comes out on DVD. Spiderman (these movies) SUCK!

But Pirates.. I will even get in my car a drive to the near large town (1 hour) to see it in English (dubbed in to French is shit!)

I was really looking forward to Spidey 3, but after seeing it last night....:(
Oh well, the summer ain't over yet...and yes Pirates is the next biggie.

And the inner kid in me is pretty curious about Transformers, though that Michael Bay can be very inconsistent in the quality of his films.

Those of you who voted for Spiderman 3 are in for a disappointment. Saw it last night, pretty much terrible.
