I am bored.
What movie should I watch?

Preferably something dramatic.
A thriller, even?

A movie that requires a lot of thinking.
And no comedic elements to it.
Just something dark.

Any ideas?

you were supposed to watch Pan's Labyrinth two weeks ago...but you watched Dorian Gray instead :biggrin1:

Pan's Labyrinth time

Requiem for a Dream is about as dark as they get. It is also based on a novel by Hubert Selby Jr.

Thanks for all the ideas, folks. I ended up watching Pan's Labyrinth.
(Happy now, Flashy?)
It was fantastic!

I think I may have to watch another one right now. Get a start on this fabulous list I've been given.

Thanks again,

Robert

if i were you, i would take Vince's advice and watch "Requiem For A Dream"...

utterly devastating, heavy film...one of my favorites...seen it dozens of times.

heartbreaking, brilliantly directed.
