Tons of Oscar Peterson, jazz pianist who recently passed away.

Oscar rocked like nobody else.
I played his piano once ... a Boesendorfer. Didn't like it, frankly, but then I'm not Oscar.

Old school here -- still prefer CDs (and even vinyl) to the 'nothingness' of MP3s. I like the artwork, the liner notes, the artist credits that comes from the real article.

I used to have five or six hundred CDs but sold them during a time when I was moving around a lot. (Not quite true ... probably half were abandoned ... stupid me.)
I know what you mean about the 'nothingness' of MP3s.


I am collecting CDs but my collection is small ... almost all classical, not because I don't like the other stuff, but because I don't encounter that much classical when I go to friends' places.
Most of my collection is piano and chamber music.
Sometimes I review performances; I'm a good bluff.:wink:
