Basically, what kind of period wear from what ever time period turns you on and if it does would you wear it yourself to either a costume party or a play you are acting in or, if you wanted, to help spice up things in your own sex life ?

Myself, I have always been partial to the old late 1800 to early 1900 pieces on men that had those really tight breeches or pants that literally hugged the arse and legs and showed off a really nice bulge and that how the bum really jutted out and showed from underneath those coat tails or the back of the intricately embroided waistcoats or vests. That, couples with the either the baker boy or bowler hats that some of the more upper class men wore with the tie and neatly pressed shirts is such a turn on. Especially if the guy has the short cut hair that is slightly messed up.

I've always been partial to the 40's look. The "Dita Von Teese" hair and makeup with tight waists for women. The double breasted suits for men with a fedora. I also like the zoot suit style but I could never get away with the hat.

I've always thought that the indians of South America had it made with
their penis tubes, those were pretty impressive! LOL

Also, the middle ages, Ok, I'm no good with history but I am partial to the
costumes that feature rather impressive penis holders that jut out from the breeches...
I've seen some that curved upwards...hmmm, anybody know what I mean?
Anyone know when and where they were from? Now that was something eh? Can you imagine how challenging the fitting must have been!!!

If you are taking about what I would like to wear, I would go with the John Malcovich wardrobe from Dangerous Liasons. I could pull that look off very well.
As far as what I would find appealing for women to wear, I have a weakness for 1950's/Desperate Housewives/Charlotte from Sex & The City.

I do living history so I have had a chance to try a number of periods out myself. I think I like the sillouette of clothing from the 1880's and then again from about 1910 to 1925. I also love the suits of the late 1940's and early 1950's.I dont love the foundation garments necessary but what can one do. We have to wear them in order to keep from looking like beached whales. This is probably why I love the Steampunk look.

I agree with you WellHung. The Edwardian period as well was good with the tight pants and fitted jackets with the bowler hats and wing collars. Like in those BBC period series where you always see the guys with a big package down the side of his pants as he walks. Always worm with high leather boots.

I'm a person who likes the beginning of the 1900. But also like wearing clothes of the four musketeers. I did that for new year once, was cool.
But I like the clothes now too, I can show my good stuff hahaha

There is something incredibly sexy about women's dresses int he pre-victorian era, with the corsets and bustiers, especially if the girl was busty with all that boob pushed up top and tons of cleavage. nice! as for me, i dont know if there is a particular thing i would really like to wear, but probably my favorite was a pirate get-up when i was in peter pan.

Sweetheart,

They wore them all throughout the Victoria period. The 1870's and 1880's included a fake bootay called the bustle! LOL! If we had continued to wear foundation garments as our mothers and grandmothers our bodies would probably have a much different sillouette. For a pic of a over the bra corset that looks fabulous go drool over Kotchanski's avatar. That is just the look you like.

I'm thinking 17th century pirates. The privateers and buccaneers and all the leather, buckles and frills that went with it. Think Captain Jack Sparrow. Obviously it won't work quite so well without looking like Johnny Depp.

Couple that with a woman in the finery of a late 17th century lady; the beauty mark, the blushed cheeks, the gown and I'm comin' ashore.
