What Scares the Piss Out of You?

What really scares you, makes you feel all sweaty and cold with fear?

For me -

1 - The dark, inside dark not outside dark, for some reason when it gets dark I suddenly start believing in all the stuff I know is nonsense in the daytime - ghosts, vampires, demonic possession.

2 - False teeth - my dad had false teeth and when we were kids he used to take them out and make chopping motions at us with them, I have a serious fear of them now.

3 - Daddy long legs - intellectually I know they're harmless, emotionally I believe they're sinister floaty long legged evil minions of satan.

4 - Clowns - I know every one of these gaily clad funsters has a fridge full of body parts.

5 - Dolls - when we're asleep they open their eyes, stand up and go around the house looking for things to stand on so they can get on your bed and eat your face.

It's a wonder I ever leave the house with all these things that scare me

The idea of going blind.

Any form of injury that makes my body bend in unintended ways or removes parts gives me the heebie jeebies. Just he sound of bones breaking makes my bile rise. The arm wrestling scene in the remake of ''The Fly'' was a bad moment for me.

The idea of a spider touching me.

I'd like to qualify that by saying I'm not petrified of spiders in and of themselves. I find them fascinating, have fed them flies to watch them feed and will hunt them down if I find them in my apartment. I've never jumped on a chair and done the girly scream because of a spider but the very idea of those alien things touching my bare flesh makes my skin crawl worse than seeing Brando in ''Last Tango In Paris'' did.

I am scared of heights, terrified of my neices or nephews getting hurt, and I have had dreams involving tornados. (Never experienced one but I was still terrified by the dream.) Also Extremely Religious people freak me out.

I don't like Elevators much myself and try to avoid using them when possible.

• Having to participate in any sport where a ball is propelled at my head. Such as: volleyball, baseball, softball, dodgeball etc.
• Having to drive stick shift. I can do it, but I suck at it.
