Me? I am terrified of frogs, flat out bat-shit scared of them. I am also really creeped out by swimming in the ocean - I blame watching "Jaws" far too young for that one.

What things give you the heebie jeebies? Irrational or otherwise!

I'm also pretty scared of the dark, my imagination goes in to overdrive.

I'm most scared by potential situations - ill health, or things being out of my control.
Haven't got many particular phobias or things that I'm scared of in themselves.

I am completely terrified by Spiders and Scorpions, absolutely so, if you want to see a grown man turn into a quivering, sweating, wild-eyed, frozen wreck then show me as much a picture of one of these mini-beasts.

I'm also perhaps even more deeply horrified by the passing of time, and aging. Death isn't a problem, that I'm pretty sanguine about, having been in near death situations ridiculously frequently. It's marking the passing of time, and the signs of its passage which I dread. No clocks, calenders, or celebrations of annual festivals for hilaire. Oh no.

Wow these are some deep answers. I was expecting answers like "Clowns" and "Angela Lansbury".

I'm frightened of large bodies of water if I can't see the bottom and live electricity especially lightening.

Two things scare me. The deep ocean where it's too murky to make out anything in the distance, and the fact that Nicolas Cage is a Hollywood star.

Me too. I was water-skiing in Loch Lomond once and fell in...I was terrified of what horrible deep-water creatures were lurking under me.

Physical, tangible things?, would have to be swimming in the ocean. And for the exact same reason as Flamey. Damn that movie!!

Emotionally, I have an overwhelming fear that my ex will finally be able to manipulate my daughters into not liking me. It's been going on since the divorce, and I am deathly afraid that she will succeed at some point. She definitely has screwed with my head, as sometimes I will let things go without any discipline, out of fear that they'll leave. For those that haven't experienced something like this, it's far greater than any physical fear. I'd dive into a pool of sharks before losing my girls
