I thought I knew my shoe size until this year. The last 4 pair I've bought have all been different sizes and all fit the same.

In college I wore a US 8.5D shoe. In recent years it had been a pretty reliable 9.

Now 9 feels tight. Yesterday I had a computer foot biometric done* and the results were that my right foot is just over 10D and my left just under 10.5D, or in European measurements about 44. So who the hell knows. My running shoes are all US 10.5 now. Dress shoes are 9.5-10 (any bigger is loose). My arches are probably in the top 10% of high.

So we'll go with:
