Prob wrong place to ask that as guys here will say 8 inches or something crazy. Truth is it combo of length n girth. I would guess it maybe 10-20%larger than average...you do the math !!
Current view is anybody +7.5" can claim to be big, the +8" fall within 10% of the population, Google stats to check out how you are rated.

I dont agree with the 7.5+ statement as it doesnt take girth into account which is probably more important..as any woman that.
If you look at many of the signature dildos moulded from the most famous pornstars alot say insertable length 6.5 or 7 whilst having around 6 inch girth.

Technically,"Big" would have to be anything larger than average, or median (not the same exactly), in either girth or length. But in real world terms, I would say that a length of 7 inches and/or a girth of 5 and 3/4 inches would be considered big. 8 inches in length is not "big"--it's gigantic (look at a ruler). Anything longer than that, and you're entering rarefied company...

Two things I disagree with here:
1) know that 'hitting the cervix' is a term often used to describe painful penetration, but it's very misleading as the cervix is easily reached with a finger, so the average penis easily, painlessly and repeatedly slips past it during sex. I'm not saying that the cervix is never sensitive to a knock or jab, but it is rarely situated at the inner end of the vagina. Painful penetration can be caused by other internal organs being knocked, and it can also be caused by too much girth. In fact, any penetration (even a finger) can be painful if the woman is not happy, ready and relaxed and wet.
2) I challenge your assertion that 'in general' women (North American or otherwise) can take 8" of insertable length. Offer a dildo with 8" of insertable length to your female friends and see if they can honestly insert it 'balls deep' vaginally. I'll be surprised if many can.
In answer to the OP's question: Based upon the findings of the most scientific survey to date (by Lifestyles Condoms), average Bone Pressed Erect Length (measured on top of penis) was found to be around 5.5" and girth was about 4.75". This makes the OP's penis (if he measured it the same way) above average in length.
What size constitutes a big penis? I think anything over 6" should be considered big; 7"= very big; 8" = huge; 9+" = gigantic and unbelievably rare. (Some on this site dispute the existence of penises 9+", stating that all 'evidence' so far is fake.)

sorry, but i have to correct you.....7.5" is top 1% and 8" is top 0.1%
the 90th percentile is around 6.7 and average is assumed to be 5.7 (sd=0.75)
the more i talk to people who really know, the more i hear that 6.5 - 7 is "big"
