I'm attracted to male model types and fit men and that's totally predictable and not unique in the least, but there are other sets of traits that are less obvious that also make me go weak in the knees and make those people crush-worthy and the objects of my fantasies.

Men with pale skin, dark hair, and bright blue eyes mesmerize me. To a lesser extent, green eyes or light blue eyes. Think Nicholas Hoult, Tom Welling, and Ian Somerhalder. I have dated a higher percentage of men who have this set of traits than any other.

Another set of crush-worthy traits, I've been attracted to people who have certain kinds of androgyny, really interesting mixtures of feminine and masculine traits. Men who move in feline ways, dress very well, and who are elegantly effeminate with graceful hand gestures, for example, or thin butch women who remind me of teenage boys or Marlon Brando. Think Hillary Swank in Boys Don't Cry or the actress from Girlfight. My first love was bisexual and he had some feminine traits that just made him even sexier to me, the way that they contrasted against his masculine features and build. I once developed a hopeless crush on one of my managers, a gay man who was a complete sweetheart and who had just the perfect blend of masculine and feminine traits that made my heart flip-flop.

Also, really bookish men who have a self-aware and self-deprecating sense of humor also appeal to me.

I can't think of anything really unique when it comes to what I'm attracted to in a man's personality or character. I think my tastes there are predictable. I want a good man who is confident and fun and interesting and kind and who loves me and treats me well.
