So, I was never a supplement person before, but since I took Enervon C as a courtesy of being a student in my university here (they give a 2-week supply each time you request) and I noticed that it's less likely for me to have "morning flu" waking up in the morning. This makes me happy. So, I guess maybe supplements do help in filling in the nutritional gap that you might not notice in your daily diet.

So, I'd like to ask what supplements do you take each day and how do they help you? Maybe some of what you list down are also offered by my university because today the nurse told me that I could choose from a range of supplements, but I don't know what to choose since we can only choose 4 of them at a time.

I was thinking zinc, but there are 2 options, 30mg or 50mg, I heard that too much of zinc can be a bad thing. I am stupid when it comes to this kind of stuff.

On doctors suggestion do to personal health issues I was born with

Fish oil gel caplet … heart and muscle
vitamin E …. muscle ( not over 400 mgs)
iron pill once a week ….. keep red blood cell count up

try to get the rest from my food, I need a high fiber and protein diet now to just feel right.

Fish oil and vitamin c. Occasionally zinc too if I'm feeling drained.

Okay... here goes.... A multivitamin, a B- complex , flax oil , prosta- strong, passion flower to keep me calm , guggulbolic for my skin, glucosamine / msm for joints, calcium, .... and an anti- estrogen/ test booster.
I take all of that, morning and night.
That's on top of multiple protein drinks, protein bars, carb drinks, creatine....
Every day.

I've used the MSM powder (around 16,000 mg-or something like that-mixed in a drink, but a horrible bitter taste.) & I was satisfied with the product.

I have a very healthy diet but I supplement the following...
A multi- vitamin with Lycopene
Glucosamine + Chondroitin + MSM
D3

Its been a long time and since i have no intention of taking supplements ,including this one, i haven't read up on it for a long time.

Someone i knew had internal bleeding caused first by aspirin and then i'm pretty sure by glucosamine chondroitin.

If i remember there wasn't any scientific evidence GC worked but in some cases it did cause stomach bleeding in animals. It didn't have FDA approval.
But that was awhile back and maybe new facts have emerged. But like i said i haven't kept up on GC for years.

Maybe things have changed or i missed something. {was wrong}

multivitamin, potassium, calcium, fish oil, Co Q 10.

if I feel a cold coming on add some zinc, and Vit C.

I have tried GC several times over the years and it does nothing for me but give me mushy bowel movements. shortly after I tried it and stopped using it the last time, the gov't said it did nothing. if it works for you, go for it..
