I vote for Xena:princess Warrior.....Lucy Loveless, (obviously a porn name,) was openly gay if you read the New Zealand press. Obviously all of us are not internationally literate. Being Americans we are so isolated from the world. I lived in Italy while the show was being aired, so I managed to get press from all over the world. Zena was so gay and the lines were all for her little lover and companion. How gay is that? Besides, strong woman are always viewed as gay. I do believe many lesbians had clubs devoted to Zena at the time. Similar to the Vanna White lesbian worship clubs.

Some Of My Best Friends ran on CBS (I think) in 2001 for a short-lived run before being cancelled. I think there were 7 or 8 episodes but not all aired. It starred Jason Bateman, Alec Mapa and Michael DeLuise (son of funnyman Dom) and other actors. I'd love to have a DVD of the show.

It has got to be 'Golden Girls'! A group of funny, slutty older women stuck in the 80's that do little more than eat cheesecake, bitch about getting older and sleep with a ton of random men!

What more can a gay guy want?

Perfect Strangers, Bossom Buddies. Pretty much any show centered on two dudes living together in an apartment. Gay.

i have no idea how to answer this question.... are we talking literally, figuratively, or stereotypically? if we're talking about all 3, then i would have to say that ALL television is gay.....

Several years after SOMBF was cancelled, a movie "Kiss Me, Guido", came out. Basically the same storyline....."GWM" in ad looking for roommate. Not "gay white male" but "guy with money."
