I try not to contribute where my post(s) cannot yield any constructiveness. Sometimes I do for the comedy but that really depends on how serious the original poster is about his/her post - if it's a light subject then the comedy is on but if it's a more serious subject then I'd give it a pass.

I avoid the Politics forum, even though I actually like politics and current events.

Not so much a "topic," but I also generally avoid any thread that already has more than two pages of responses. Usually by the time a thread has 20-30 posts there's nothing new for me to add.

I usually post to questions/concerns/topics where I feel I can be a contributing member.

So the converse is true. I do not usually post to those topics that are foreign to me, or if I consider the topic to be funny, I will post a humorous reply.

In conclusion, it just depends.

Hmm. Hmm. Some of the topics are from new comers (so to speak) like "Am I big", and some if it is just plain newbee unaware stuff. I try not to put anyone down for that.

I went and answered a few threads about American Idol and made people angry. I still think it sucks, and there are lots of starving people with more talent than can be shown there.

I've seen a lot of people naked at pagan festivals. Sometimes it ain't pretty.

I complain if incest or "bestillity" featured threads appear.
