It's even more lovely when you incorporate live plants and driftwood.

;-)

Enjoy some shots of my old 75gal from before I moved to Buffalo. The layout changes slightly as plants grow, get thinned/trimmed, switched out, etc. -- but that's the fun!

That's pretty sweet. I just got into keeping fish. Have a 65 Gal with an Oscar

I currently have a cat and a rabbit. Living in the same house we also have another cat, and there's a mad galah in an aviary in the backyard.

In the past I have had a chicken, mice, hermit crabs (they didn't last long), and for a few months, a horse.

Currently pet-less (the dog in my gallery is my brother's) but in the past:

*Dog *Cat *Chicken *Horse *Cow/Bull *Turtle/Tortoise

I forgot to vote for:

*Other Bird (a very angry duck) *Rabbit (loose in our backyard)

Currently pet-less, but we get quite a few semi-tame magpies, kookaburras and willy-wagtails in our backyard - including one playful will-wag who loves to fly around and follow me every time I mow the lawn.

I love pets! In youth I had many. For a time as my kids grew up we had quite the fur-fin-feather ecosystem going. Swat the flies that hatch out of the litter box, feed them to the fish, pour the aquarium water on the garden, grow seed for the doves, feed the eggs to the ferrets...

Allergies and asthma and moving house have forced us to cut back. The doves got released. Some ferrets went feral like Midlifebear's Faucet. No aquarium for the last five years. Ferrets numbers scaled way back, and they don't set off my fur allergy, only my mother-in-law's.

Maybe if we lived in a less urban setting the menagerie would be still around, with the doves in a cote.

I do keep spiders for the flies now.
