My first REAL job was working at SKATS being a cashier and a biscuit maker when I was 15 1/2. I think the pay was something like $4.75. I used to think I was rich from that:redface:

LMAO.... seriously dirty:biggrin1: But I understand!

Some Skats are owned by Boddie-Noell Enterprises, it is a fast food place similar to Hardee's, better know for their chicken. I'm not even sure if any are still in business. The one I worked at as a child shut down.

Worked as a farm hand. Pulled mustard weed from the hay fields, and shoveling a winters worth of manure from cow stables. Not saying when but $2.25 an hour was good money.

oh boy! it's been sooooooooooo long ... it was either working over the summer school break for a woman who raised show cats or a flower store doing the donkey work.
