    Open a photo album at random, usually one from your younger years, and there it is. Gasp! The hair! The clothes! "What was I thinking!?!

    Let's date ourselves, shall we?

    Please share the style/fad that was just the "ult" at the time only to cause you to shudder later.

    I'd like to start by submitting the thin braided Pat Benetar headband with the feathered roachclip attached.

    That's not so bad! Cute, even. I was bracing myself for a mullet :eek:

  4. Chances are I'll flip out in the future at some of the styles I've chosen to embrace, but hopefully not ... :rolleyes:

    ROFL! I sooo remember them, one of my favorite aunts rocked one for a loong while! Cool Thread!

    Two things for me: The "poof" bangs and "tight rolling" my jeans (which was a form of art back then) accompanied by bright neon stretch socks and cons. Yay for the 80's!!!!!!!! :biggrin1:

    For a while, 10 years or so ago.... Children would wear denim Coveralls. These "overalls" looked like Jumpers that you brit kids wore, I think.
    Made entirely of jean material... much like a farmer would wear. Someone help me out here!!!:biggrin1:

    I know what Jeff's talking about, but unfortunately do not know what they're called either.

    Oh yeah... I may or may not have dreadlocks as I type this :eek: I've also had a full out mullet, liberty spikes and this really bad looking sorta-not really-mohawk within the last 5 years or so.

    I lived in the jock dorm at University in the 80s, but somehow thought it was cool to walk around wearing heavy black eyeliner, 4 Fall colors in my spikey hair, humpteen rubber bracelets up both my arms and anywhere from 4 to 6 different belts layered around my waist. Thank you Duran Duran.

    OMG, I used to do this, even though I was only a child then!:biggrin1:

    My sisters did it, so I copied them. We used to wear them on our
    fingers, wrists and all up our arms! We'd make all sorts of connections
    from one finger to another finger, then to our wrists.:eek::redface:

    Other things that I used to wear that I'm ashamed of now are/were friendship bracelets!:biggrin1:
    I made my own, and wore about ten of them on my wrist in elementary school!
    How lame!:redface: How GAY!!!:biggrin1::tongue:
