I really dislike it when people use God's name in vain.

Words alone don't disturb or offend me, I always try to see them in context.
It's just certain people and there opinions I cannot stand.

'What word offends you?'

Words are, at their most basic, just sounds. I've never understood how a word within itself can offend someone; obviously I'm making a complex language system sound simple as words hold connotations, but yeah.

A word, to me, is only offensive in context and it depends on what its intent is and even then I'm virtually not ever that offended by words. If a friend was to call me a 'fucking faggot' or something (and they do, as I've made my stance on it clear before) then I'd joke around with them. If a stranger in the street came up to me and said the same thing then I'd likely be offended - but then that's because of the liberty of a stranger coming up to me and insulting me, not the specific words themselves.

So yeah, no words offend me unless they're intended to offend.

It annoys me when people call things that's suppose to be "lame" or what they hate or not into as "gay."

I do that myself to be honest and have always made it clear within my circle of friends that I'm fine with them doing it too.

Language evolves and, for the most-part, people no longer say gay in that context even thinking about homosexuality - it simply doesn't mean that in that context anymore.
