What Would You Take?

You've been chosen to be the first person to go to Mars. Problem is, you'll be going by yourself and total time you'll be gone is about three years. You will be provided with water, food suppliment pills that will meet all your nutritional needs, and all the basics (clothing, toiletries, etc.). You will also be alowed to radio Earth once a day. To keep you from going completely crazy during this time NASA is going to let you bring along one item in each of the catagories below. What would you take? Add why if you want.

1. Food dish.
2. Beverage.
3. Dessert.
4. Book.
5. Movie.
6. The entire musical collection of one person or group.
7. Every episode of one TV series.
8. One personal item. (A game console is one item. Games are separate.)

My choices:

1. Burrito fixings . I like them and you could do a lot of variations.
2. Sweetened iced tea.
3. Homemade ice cream.
4. The Bible. Could read it many times and get something new each time.
5. Pirates. The X-rated version.
6. Enya.
7. Scrubs. Fairly funny and has a lot of episodes.
8. A deck of cards.

6. The entire musical collection of one person or group. Frank Sinatra
7. Every episode of one TV series. Bonanza
8. One personal item. (A game console is one item. Games are separate.) CD player so I can listen to that music collection.
