[/QUOTE]Thank you for your reply. I read it three times to discover any nuances that I m as you have missed. But your ideas seem fairly straightforward forward. My response below is offered as clarification:
1. I asked a direct question of straight white men because I definitely want their perspective. As I mentioned, this is a recurring scenario. And in full disclosure, this has been a topic of discussion between other professional Blacks men. We are definitely curious about the "why" of it all.
2. Although I mentioned alcohol in my scenario, please note that I'm a light social drinker who never gets intoxicated. And I make a practice of avoiding conversations with heavy drinkers. My point is that my discussions, even if a beer or two lowered inhibitions, were in no way a result of intoxication.
QUOTE="ronin001, post: 6224583, member: 415466"]Aside from college Howard Stern type comments, from friends in relatively close circle of friends, almost no one has ever directly or indirectly made such comments to me. Even then the person making the pun, was openly gay ant it was taken as a joke.
I am not much of a social ; or private drinker, so when the OP states I also think that after a few more brews, they might be willing to try something new.
So it is difficult to ascertain if the alcohol alters the OPs interaction with men; or if alcohol increases the inhibitions of the Caucasian males suddenly interested in his appendage proportions Sexuality and Alcohol can have a synergistic effect on short term reasoning
My answer to the OP, do not look for answers to a question, unless you really want to know the answer
I may have missed...
