I never have heard such a potty mouth as my love when she is in her "happy place" as she says so, when sewing in her room full of overlockers and machines.....Yet she is a director in the Education Department.

I guess her happy place is letting the cunt word fly left, right and centre when things don't stitch well, yet not able to let fly in her work environment.

Language which belongs on a building site....yet I rarely hear it :) Such a potty mouth she has :)

Rather tediously, I have been told that the word "cunt" is too rude for this site.

Considering you can see cocks galore and such terrible amateur pornography as to give a granny a stroke (and not in a good way...), I find it odd that a good, old fashioned, Queen's English Anglo-Saxon word like "cunt" is considered somehow too much for delicate American sensibilities.

Funny that.

I try to come up with something (relatively)free of profanities when speaking.

words have power, especially swear words, so using judiciously gives them back their impact.

I remember the first time I saw the Lenny Bruce profanity clip. It was also loaded with slurs, which are, to me, more profane. his intention was to dilute the words so thoroughly that they held no power.
Nice idea, but ineffective. (It has lead to only the oppressed population may use the term socially, unless you really are just a racist/sexist clown. Is this reclaiming? Does it actually change a thing?)

yet, I still don’t like fbombs left and right. I do think that it’s a stand in for a stronger vocabulary, but I also understand inter group language.
