Measurement is a real pet peeve of mine. The majority of people claiming 8"+ are lying, sometimes just deceitful and other times they believe their own lies bad measuring.
If we are going to compare what is big to what is small everyone needs to adhere to the measuring standards that are already established. If you're measuring from the side, you aren't as big as you think you are. If you are measuring your girth at the base with ball skin bunched into the tape, you aren't as big as you think you are. Another popular one is to have the ruler on a serious angle between the base and the head.
If you want your true size listen up:
For length there are two standards, bone pressed and non-bone pressed. For accuracy you should use and report both.
For girth, mid shaft erect girth. This means mid shaft! The middle, half way between the visible base and the glans.
For non-boned pressed you should place the base of the ruler ON the penis where it visibly begins. The ruler should be on the top, touching the penis for the entire length. No squeezing or manipulating. Also the penis should be at 90deg to the floor. The farther down you push it, the longer the measurement becomes.
For bone pressed everything is the same except the starting point. Instead of starting at the visible base, you start where the penis and the pelvic bone meet. This does not mean you can just dig the ruler into your pelvis anywhere you choose. The rule should be touching both the bone AND the base of the penis. The ruler should be parallel to the penis, not on some absurd angle.
Until the measuring becomes more consistent you can't really take any of these size discussions seriously. Are there some seriously monster cocks around here? Yes, some are nothing short of amazing. But seriously, there are sooo many people here just kidding themselves.
