I actually have no plans as of yet other then hanging around. What are you doing in your town? BBQ? boating? hanging?
We are going to Marblehead to visit friends and cook and eat and laugh and play bridge and stay up late and gossip about everyone who is not there!
Ok so far you win! heee
We are going to Marblehead to visit friends and...gossip about everyone who is not there!
I suggest you be very careful what you say. That town is crawling with my spies.
I'll be in Ohio on the third for my stepson's graduation party. But returning on the 4th for the lobster bake at the Tuxedo Club.
I can go to Marblehead any time.
Don't worry doll, these are not your people. This is the group that I met when I was a young nudeyorker foreign exchange student in London!
Yes...some of my oldest friends and sparing partners! We have a clambake with cousins in Brewster here on the beach each year.
I miss the days when I was a child and relatives were closer (and there were more of them) and we'd gather at an ancient family farmhouse. I'd meet cousins I didn't know I had. The men manned the bar in the barn and all the relatives got a bit too stinko and propositioned the wrong women (or men) and had to live it down the rest of the year.
I can hear Harry Belafonte's Matilda playing in the background now. It was a great time watching the clear liquid slop out of the martini glasses as they'd mambo when they shouldn't have.
nudeyorker?
Marblehead, Massachusetts?
A nice white orchid would be nice!Huh.
Thinks to self, How can I come up with some "plants"?
I'll be with family and friends out of state.
I played John Adams in the musical 1776 once so I have made it a holiday tradition to watch the movie version of 1776 and will add The Adams Chronicles and HBO's John Adams to that.
Mr. Adams, this is dedicated to you!

That'll be one of my minions hiding behind the potted palm.
