i have experienced both. but with the partners i have experienced it with length was more common than the big girth was. guess thats why i was so surprised when i seen the girth of my now hubby. me being a girth lover any way i still couldn't believe his size till i measured him. as a rule of thumb [ from my experience only here not for every one.] i have found the longer cocks aren't as big girth wise as a smaller in length cock is. hubby is 7.75 L x 7 in girth. others that were longer than him wasn't as big in girth, so i would have to say judging from guys i know and been with that girth is harder to find than length is. but thats just from the guys i know over the years, not saying that this is true for everyones case. others mite have experienced it the other way around. the guys i know who are a true 8 inches are between 5 to 6 inches in girth. the guys i know who are under 8 inches are between 5 to 6 inches with a couple that are 6.5 inches in girth. hubby is the only one i have ever seen in real size not lpsg size that has ever been close in girth as his length is. but i didn't measure every one.[lol] only 1 guy was small as small could be.which was 4.75 L x 3 inches in girth. just my 2 cents worth here from some of my experiences. but not all of them. :wink:

The reason why many girls choose girth over length is clear.

A long penis will hit their cervix with a deep stroke. This causes similar pain to receiving a hit in the ballsac for a man. Is very painful.

I don't really have much personal experience with pumping, I tried it once out of curiosity and didn't like it. But from others I've met and talked to about it I think it is possible to gain a permanent increase in girth through vacuum pumping, without deforming the penis. But it's also possible to permanently deform your penis through extreme pumping so I think a conservative approach would be called for if you choose to try it. From my own brief experience with the vacuum pump there's no question that it increases the girth while being pumped, the only question being whether any of that increase will be permanent.

Even though there's no scientific consensus to support the idea I also believe that "jelqing" (or "jelquing') can potentially produce a permanent growth in penile thickness. I say that because all my life I've practiced a similar method of playing with myself, while staying just shy of full erection. I had not heard of jelqing until quite recently but I've done essentially that very thing since puberty, simply because it felt good.
