As far as I've seen "Pornstars" which is a term most people use VERY loosely(no pun intended) but most of what I've seen for "Classic" style porn stars(i.e., Actors or actresses like Peter North, Lex Steele, Jenna Jameson, etc) is they arrive at the location they're going to start filming and get to work.

If they have some scenes to record before sex they do it, have lunch, you know all the usually shit.

Then when it comes to the fucking and shit you'll usually set off to the side and get your dick hard for like 15 or 20 minutes so that girl can do her thing, then come on scene(unless the script calls for you to arrive flaccid. They don't usually want you to use "Charisma Supplements", they prefer you use vitamins and such.

There are usually between 3 and 20 helping with the shooting of a pornographic film at any time and as a male actor not only do you need a big dick but you also need to be able to get hard at command and stay hard FOR A WHILE. Sometimes shooting a movie is a short affair, sometimes it takes longer.

After that all you need it to be able to control you orgasm for a long time and cum more or less on command.

If you're being videotaped by someguy with a handycam then none of this stuff really applies and you're not a star, just a rube on someguy's home camcorder.
