What's the longest you've driven without sleep?

~drove friends from down Baja California to San Francisco.... total time was about 17 hours, but we musta had stoppage time of 3-4 hours.

This thread also reminds me of Cannonball Run. It was an outlaw race across the country from New York to LA. The movie was inspired by the real race.

For two hurricane evacuations once in '05 and once prior...both times N.O. to Houston. Normally a 6 hr. drive, it took 20 hrs. and 24 hrs. respectively.

was about 13-15 hour from the North west corner of Kansas bout hour south of Nebraska to South East Wisconsin stop for gas food, A bit hard when two other people were sleeping, Had about 4 hour sleep the day before

What makes you think we/they are endangering the lives of other drivers? I certainly would have gotten off the road & into the nearest hotel if thought my driving was even slightly impaired.

louisiana to iowa (and vice-versa). we always stop halfway. it should take 18 hours but we always stop and rest somewhere for a few hours. it a PAIN driving that long of a distance (and then back)!
