What's the longest time you have been unemployed and avidly looking for work?

About a year, after I finished grad school in 2003-04.

What's the longest amount of time you have ever worked at one job?

About three and a half years.

What was your favorite job?

Working part-time for a contractor while I was in grad school. He was a really special guy whom I learned a lot from.

What was the shortest time you spent on a job?

About two weeks, working for one of those political organizations that canvass door-to-door.

Was the job you stayed at the longest, the job which you liked the most?

No, although that one wasn't too bad.

Why was your favorite job not the one you kept the longest?

There just wasn't enough work, when I worked for the contractor guy, especially after I finished grad school and wanted something full-time.

5 years and 4 years respectively

The one I stayed at for 4 years

What was the shortest time you spent on a job?

Two, maybe 3 days. I was the sign co-ordinator for the Shop-Rite in Bricktown. I had to hand write all the sale signs for the store and the produce manager didn't like my 9's. Also it was freezing in there I hate being cold.

Was the job you stayed at the longest, the job which you liked the most?

No, I stayed for the paycheck and the benefits; but it ate my soul away and each day I could feel my brains oozing out of my ears from the monotony.:frown1:

Why was your favorite job not the one you kept the longest?

I got burned out and the pay sucked! I was on the road 20 weeks out of the year and had no life. :frown1:
