I'm going for Grand Prix, it's just cars going round in circles, I could go and stand on the street and there'd be more variety in the cars I saw.

    all of them.

though if I was forced to watch something I'd take car racing over baseball or football or American football. There's a lot of skill involved in auto racing, most people don't seem to appreciate that because they don't really understand what goes into it.

I still find it boring, though.

    Do people really still curl?

I remember it as a kid and I called it broom bowling.

To me Golf is the most boring to watch, I usually get disinterested quickly and the announcers talk so soft and low, they can lull you to sleep.

Honestly, man, I watch the gymnastics floor routines and maybe the track events. After that I'm out.

Tennis and golf are my favorites! I live to see Federer play Nadal. I would die to see Mike Weir win another major.

All good nominees, the other day I was at an eatery/sports bar and overheard another patron telling his friend that he was going to vomit if he had to watch bowling. I couldn't stop laughing and this thread brought back fond memories of that moment.

For me, hunting & fishing, just about any women's league or sport (sounds sexist, but really it's not). Then there's those metrx world's strongest steroid abuser. Bodybuilding is another. Figure skating, gymnastics, swimming, water polo and the list is endless. And one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen, that hot dog eating contest. Is that really ESPN Sports Center worthy ?

As for Golf, that I can watch anytime, it's amazing how accurate those shots are. Billiards, anyone can geometrically play that game and be relatively good, the surface/playing field is constructed perfectly or to near perfection, but Golf, it's played on a manicured lawn, yet with any landscape, hardly flawless and to drop a golf ball within feet/inches of a hole 4 days in a row over 72 holes from distances that are several times that of a football field on that playing field is simply an astonishing feat. Watch those guys putt, then try to make what they do on your carpeting at home or even a putt putt golf course. I had the luxury of playing a course the day after the weekend of a PGA Q-school event, the difference in the level that the course was prepared was incredible and this was 4 days after it had been played from the 1st round of that event, the greens were so fast it was a struggle to 2 putt anything that day the first time through the course. They had an all day special and we played the course twice that day. The local course, I one and two putt those greens with regularity.

The only sport you can play while sucking down a Marlboro!

My vote goes to cricket. Not only can you not tell just what is going on without a giant scoreboard filled with more statistics than Gallup, but the matches can go on for several agonizing DAYS! And God help you if you weren't born watching cricket because you'll never learn.

Equally dull to me is American football. All of a sudden something happens and then everyone stands around for five or six minutes then something happens again and everyone stands around for five or six minutes then something else happens and there are offsides, reversals, punts, downs, and all kinds of meaningless things. Would you PLEASE just get on with the damned game??
