Is that when they play for about 8 hours instead of 5 days?
Life's too short.
F1 is the only sport I watch. It's not about supporting teams for me,it's individual drivers.I'll be up at 6:00 am tomorrow to see Lewis Hamilton make history.

So it's all about stuffing your face and getting drunk?
My dad was born in Warsaw so I didn't have the traditional Yorkshire cultural upbringing, but my 100% Yorkshire bred uncle and grandad never had any interest in field sports either.

20/20 is 20 overs of cricket for each team, it really doesn't take very long

The Monty Python cricket sketch summed it up for me.They're all just standing there, not moving a muscle and the commentators are getting excited saying "what a fantastic display of inertia!". :biggrin1:
I was in Yorkshire twice recently, it's very nice there :) I got the idea the local sport is tea drinking and cake eating.
You missed the four man senior citizen team sidecar racing then ?
And the armchair land speed record?

I used to occasionally watch olympic gymnastics or diving, I woln't again until the organization gets over their discrimination against gays.
Otherwise, they are all boring. My TV is only connected to the DVD player, and I haven't had it on since last winter.

Soccer (Futball?) - If the field of play was smaller it might be tolerable. Exceptions for Soccer include: Riots, Stampedes and Streakers.

Golf - The Golf Channel is a cure for insomnia.

To me Golf is the most boring to watch, I usually get disinterested quickly and the announcers talk so soft and low, they can lull you to sleep.

I think golf is boring as hell...I never could figure out how my uncle (a golfer) could sit in front of the TV and watch the Masters for HOURS on end.

Boring sports:

Golf.
Tennis.
Bowling.
Football.

Interesting sports:

Mixed martial arts. (It is the only sport that looks like legalized gay porn but with a gladiatorial je ne sais quoi.)

Bodybuilding. (Where straight men can get buff and do gay Vogue dancing to 80s power rock.)

Rugby. (What is not to love about a lot of hypermasculine guys in rugby shirts, hot pants and field shoes all scrummed up in the arse shoulders deep?:mischievous:)
