today the cheapest I saw it was $2.44/gal, which has come down almost 2 dollars in a few weeks

it's $2.95/gallon in LA for the unleaded grade. unleaded-plus is peeking about the $3.05/gallon mark. and premium is still in the $3.15/gallon range. it's actually not so bad compare to how it was a few months ago with $5.00/gallon prices.

I just paid US$2.35 yesterday in Atlanta.

In Charlotte, NC, I saw several stations yesterday that had Unleaded for $2.58 a gallon. Cross the state line into South Carolina, and gas can be had for $2.06 a gallon.

I can't wait for it to continue to drop. My hybrid will be cruising for mere pennies.

I still say you guys whine too much about it.... 5.00$ I'd be pissed about. But considering Canada was at 1.30$/litre= 4.92$ per gallon, and has ALWAYS been more than americans.... I'd say... suck it up, kids. You ain't payin' that much.:smile:

Even at the current rate, (.96/litre) we are still paying 3.63/gallon.

Oh my gosh, I need to move! I saw a gas station today with regular unleaded for $2.98 and I had a mini-orgasm right there. That was cheapest I'd seen by 30 cents or so in AGES! Darn Bay Area....


Not moving to Canada. Can't afford gas at those prices!
