I realise that it's a different culture , they have their laws , their customs etc...

However , someone still needs to explain me the logic behind it. It just seems absurd.

They censor the cocks & pussies , and yet , we obviously know what they're doing...Porn films aren't aimed for kids...Just for adults...so why bother ? Better yet , what's the use of directing a porn flick at all ?

Why not go with a softcore ? (since they'l censor it anyway).

Huh, never saw that while I was living there.

They have to censor penis/vagina because it's illegal to show it. It's also illegal to show drugs in movies. These laws are very old and founded in the extremely Conservative government's motives, not in the desires of the Japanese people.

Interestingly, the "black market" for these pornos without the blurring is huge there, and the companies know they can sell uncensored ones under the table for twice or three times as much, so they do.
