In the early eighties, my mother -- probably -- would each year buy an audio cassette of that year's entries to the Eurovision Song Contest.

If I'm not mistaken, Spain came in last in 1983.
I guess it was regarded as a bit too ethnic for such a competition, but when it comes to involuntary memories -- for me, at least -- Spain was THE winner.
