Whats up with more and more privet shower stalls at the gym?

If you didn't want to see cock in the showers, as someone said above, why would the privatization of showers bother you anyway? I go, workout, shower and go home or wherever. Last thing I want is the feeling someone is leering at me while I cleanse myself in the shower. I enjoy privacy in my own shower. For the record I also like the dividers at urinals. It's amazing to me how at some places these same dividers get damaged enough where they practically don't exist. What's the big deal? It's a mens room with showers and at a gym. As I said I enjoy the privacy of my shower.

I am pretty happy that there are separate shower stalls in the gyms i go to. I usually go in the middle of the night so if anyone else is in the locker room with you it is usually just you and them with no one else coming in or out. And that is when staring gets pretty creepy. I have had enough guys offer sex and blowjobs (which were turned down) so i bet the stares and offers would be worse if it they had open showers.

I notice this to, all the new gyms have private shower stalls. Only the old baby boomer guys walk around naked. Its a generational thing, alot of people are just shy to be naked in front of many people. Times changed in the usa, nudity is even less popular than the 70's!

I am no botanist but I believe privet is not suitable for shady lockerrooms, let alone shoddy ones.

New swimming baths, Gym built near my town, communal changing rooms and large communal showers facing the glass walled sauna, so i guess people sit, sweat and stare. Also the urinals have no dividers between them.

Funny thing is, i would not have thought anything of this until i read the threads on here, maybe a little knowledge can be damaging or maybe not.

Do I care if there are private showers or dividers between urinals? Not really. Do I care if the equipment is in working order and they have a couple decent sets of weights? Absolutely.

The increase in gym fees is most likely due to added/upgraded amenities: changing areas and locker rooms, fitness classes, new equipment, etc. I'm sure they're not increasing prices JUST to deny gay men (or men in general) the ability to see one another naked.
