My first lover and first wife had a problem with my size, but she thought it was her, and it might have partly been. She was diagnosed with vagismus, vaginal spasm. This was the late 60s. My only previous experience was comparing size with a friend and I was a bit smaller. So until I divorced my first wife and began dating, I didn’t have much to go on, and never thought much about it.
My first sexual dating partners, all female started making me appreciate that I was over average. I remember one yelling “less, less!”, and one gave me a postcard titled “world’s largest organ”. Bumping into a cervix was all to easy, too. Later, when I was swinging, I never noticed any other guy who was as large as I was, but I wasn’t looking that carefully. The couples swapping were with smaller guys, too.
Later when I started m-m, I only found one guy who was larger than I was. I’m only 7+ × 5+, but that’s enough to be well on the right side of the bell curve.
