And there are also so many people in the world that do have issues because of male minor non-therapeutic circumcision. Whether those issues are physical, psychological or both, the issues are a legitimate reason to outright ban this outdated mal-practice.

There are hundreds of young circumcised males that have posted youtube videos to voice their discontent on the continued practice of circumcision. Doesn't that tell you something. The fact that men are restoring their foreskins, doesn't that tell you something. The fact that in key worldwide locations there are is a growing cottage industry of foreskin restoration products, doesn't that tell you something.

More and more people are learning the "truth", are taking action and voicing their opinion that non-therapeutic circumcision of minors is wrong. Most of the people that are complacent on this subject are simply ignorant.

We're in agreement, although I hate to create sub classes where babies are not protected, specifically because they are the most vulnerable. I think all human beings should be protected from assault. Religions already have strong prohibitions against doing harm--just that circumcision is the odd exception to so many social standards of common decency.

I am 42 and uncut and very happy with being uncircumcised.

I personally look at it as a cosmetic procedure and if an adult (over 18) wishes to modify their body, as long as they do the research, they should be able to do so.

Of course, if there is a medical problem, at any age, it should be discussed between doctor patient and parents and if it is medically necessary, then it should be done.

So rarely a true medical need dave. As you know the foreskin is highly elastic and can usually be expanded over time by stretching and jerk off therapy. :veryhappy:

So many North Americans cut at birth in the last few generations. Almost universal from the sixties through the nineties. Or course many became doctors. Although they didn't choose, they still don't know what a foreskin is for, and some obviously can't tolerate anyone having anything they can't have.

Mine was taken off at the age of 14, supposedly to correct hypospadia. What a lie! Removing the foreskin had nothing to do with correcting my birth defect. I can't imagin anything short of some sort of skin cancer of the foreskin that could justify removal of such a vital portion of the body. It was created for a purpose and should be left alone so it can accomplish that.
I was talked into having my son circumcized and regretted it since. If given the chance, can't see how it would be brought up in conversation, I would appologize to him for the violent abuse I allowed.

I am against penis mutilation/circumcision in all cases unless

But, it is much worse to be done as a child because the penis hasn't developed yet. Circumcision as a child removes between 50-60% of the total skin of the penis. It's much lower if done on an adult. There's plenty of research from multiple studies and organizations that support this. The only reason it's done when the boy is a baby and defenseless is so that the boy doesn't have a say in the matter. Once again, if you study the history of this horrible and perverse act, this is why it was done at birth.

I've been having sex with my foreskin on for 56 years now, and it has been terrific.

Again, what is needed is not a change in the basic human body. What is needed is a change in your thinking. Body dysmorphic disorder can be cured with help. Instead, you are busy projecting it outward...as if the only way you can be happy is if the rest of us are all circumcised. Sad, really.
